Billing Information: Water bills for residents are sent out every two months. They are due on the 15th of each month. After that, a 10% penalty is added and a notice is sent to you. The notice will let you know the bill needs to be paid or your service will be disconnected. Bills for larger, commercial accounts are sent out every month. These are due on the 25th. After that, a 10% penalty is added.
If You Have A Leak: If you have had a leak and it is now repaired, you may file for one adjustment in your billing per calendar year. You will need to fill out an adjustment request. We will adjust your bill and send a new one to you. You are allowed one adjusted bill per calendar year.
Filling a Swimming Pool or Watering a Yard: We do not allow adjustments on your sewer bill based upon filling a pool or watering your yard. Sewer billing is based upon water usage. However, we have notice it is cheaper to run the water from a hose and pay the water/sewer bill than it is to have water hauled to your property.
Shut Off For Non-Payment: If your account is not paid after the due date on the delinquent notice, the City will turn off your water service. It will be restored upon payment of the bill. A $20.00 reconnection fee will be imposed.
Sanitation Fee: There is a $8.50 per month sanitation fee for all residential customers within city limits.
