Amtrak has been providing passenger rail service to Centralia since it's service began in 1971. Centralia is served by the the Saluki Line, the City of New Orleans Line, and the Illini Line.

The Illini stops at 8:06 PM Southbound and 4:58 PM Northbound.
The City of New Orleans stops at 12:25 AM Southbound, and 4:10 AM Northbound.
in 2006 the Saluki line was added, which stops at 1:16 PM Southbound, and 8:23 AM Northbound.
